But it's clear, that the hands-to-face mantra will continue to be part the routine. Rotary is indeed changing. As we move into in the summer of 2021 and the uncertainty regarding how Rotary will be able to give the same kind of connection which Rotary members experienced in the past continues. Although the "hands looking outwards" idea is likely to become a regular routine at the club it is clear that a sense of confidence is developing, and more people have been able to make connections face-to-face. Rotary, however, has changed. Rotary has evolved. Our methods have been refined to maintain online meetings in our businesses, while reintroducing services and social activities in a face-toface format. New possibilities are paired with our best pre-pandemic practices to create a new and bright prospects for Rotary. Based on a Rotary survey 75% of members plan their normal business activities. The members' imagination and ingenuity when finding solutions to some of the toughest challenges is astonishing. I am thankful for the opportunity that Rotary gave me in 2002 to become a member. Rotary, like so many others has given me an extensive network of individuals who are committed to my ideals and who have made genuine connections throughout the past twenty years.
