Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an Mexican American sportscaster. She currently works as a sportscaster for ESPN, working as an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. She joined ESPN in 2016. joined ESPN. Her mother is the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since age nine. Her ability was crucial in securing her first post as a production assistant for Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In 1992, the couple divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo, an engineer in the naval sector who died in 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. It was on a time of summer when she was with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten a job. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, but was already aware of what she was going to do. It was an amazing campus. It also gave her the degree she wanted. When she completed the requirements for high school, she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed for many years, became her friend. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence, and his passion in Journalism touched her deeply. As a result, she was determined to exceed his expectations, never letting him down.
